Honō no Megami translates as "goddess of fire".
Kagu-tsuchi, is one of the Kami of Japanese mythology that embodies the element of fire. Honō no Megami does not exist in Japanese mythology, but it can be seen as what Adrian von Ziegler, composer of this song, imagines as the female version of Kagu-tsuchi.
